    New Dado Set coming!

I went on Amazon and they had the Oshlun SDS-0842 8-inch 42 tooth stack dado set listed among some others. I read some reviews and decided on this one as it said it gives a flat bottom cut and the reviewers were very please. I shall let you all know how I like it after it gets here. Should arrive sometime after Christmas. Not in any hurry because I don't need it right away anyway.

I have had that for about 3 months. Got it from Holbren.com. You are gonna like it, at least I do.

I bought mine from Holbren (sp?) when they had it on sale a while back and I love it, super clean cuts at any size you want.

Gary - Holbren will give you 10% with the "BT310" discount code, and I think free shipping (or at least really cheap shipping), which would put it as low as $72 shipped. You should be able to cancel the Amz deal if it hasn't been processed yet.

Are you running a BT saw? An 8" dado will have clearance problems in those saws when a wide stack is used. Just though you oughta know. If you got a different saw, probably OK...

I think it will. I have used it to cut notches in 6x6, 4x6 and 4x4 douglas fir for posts for a deck. About 75 of them with no problems and smooth cuts. I use it on a C-Man 22114 (1 1/2 HP) saw and works excellente'. The saw doesn't even slow down. Of course the feed rate I use is pretty slow.
