    Turned Spindles source

    I had a question from a friend come up;
    Hi Erik - Do you know of anyone who might have a stock of turned spindles/table legs? I am in search of two barley twist spindles, approx 14" long and 3" diameter, in red oak preferably. Thanks,
    I gave her a some possible leads to a couple local millwork shops, and said to try the guys at Rockler in Arlington and maybe the Woodcraft in Fort Worth. Does anyone know of any other ideas?

    Turning clubs might be able to turn them on to someone willing to spin something up for them...

      I didn't look through their web page, but this site is commonly featured in
      magazine ads. Have a look.

        That's a neat site Paul. I didn't see exactly what they were looking for in a quick perusal.
        I'm going to have to bookmark that one, CAD files of the elements will come in very handy.

          I don't think one can turn a barley twist!

            Adam's might be a possibility.
