But Google is my friend. I now know how to paint the line that keeps one kinda thing from being all eat up by the sharp spinny thing. Gotcha! I should do this painting while the thing is off, yes?

Unless you want to paint the line in blood, which has its problems. Mainly, due to the radial dispersion, the line is much lighter towards the front of the saw and too dark next to the blade. And there is the whole missing finger thing.
