    Craftsman 12 in. Band Saw - $252

Originally $329 but shows up in cart for $252 with %20 off.

Anyone have experience with this? Looks to be made by Rikon.

Yes, this is correct! It is a 20% off discount for a tool purchase of $299 or more and until 9PM get an additional 10% off for the family and friends vip night.

    HURRY IF YOU WANT IT!
The anticipation of death is worse than death itself!

So don't worry about using those power tools in the rain with a frayed cord!

Yes...I bought one last Labor Day. So far I'm happy with it and am impressed for the price. It's a fairly substantial machine, the table is large, the stand is very stable, the light is a nice feature, the fence works ok, and the resaw capacity is excellent..though'll it's a bit of a slow go over 4" for most hardwoods. I bought 3 Timberwolf blades for it. I'm not crazy about the tension adjuster, but that can be improved, and the guide bearings aren't too good, but those can be upgraded for ~ $15.

You're correct...it's made by Richen Enterprises who owns Rikon.

Does anyone one know where to obtain the ABEC 5 or ABEC 7 rollerblade bearings cited in the epinions.com review. Here the relevant paragraph from the review.

"The roller guide bearings are a nice feature in a saw in this price range, however the quality of those bearings isn't overly high. I've read several complaints from owners and have witnessed their shortcomings myself. Fortunately, it's an easy and inexpensive fix if you choose to upgrade them. Many owners simply buy a set of ABEC 5 or ABEC 7 rollerblade bearings and substitute them. "

            ABEC is a rating system.

Apparently I will need these bearings too - I intend to look in Sporting goods stores and online.
