    BT3000 For Sale - 600.00

I posted it here cause of the ridiculous price.

    http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/bfs/484034399.html

She says no emails saying the price is too high. I sure hope nobody actually pays that.

yeah, well, she had professionals tell her it was well worth the price. I hope she didn't pay them for their opinion.
Of course, In some respects, it is worth that price!

She needs to do some comparison shopping. I looked around on the Portland Craigslist and found 2 cabinet saws at the same price point she is asking.

Hey for an extra "C" note and some pocket change, I'd go for this saw.

Apparently none of those "professionals" thought it was a good enough deal to buy it for themselves...

If she's rejecting comments about the price right up front, I'd guess she already knows her price is high. We could always email her asking if the lack of serious inquiries makes the same statement!

A bit high, considering there is another one in the area for $100:

                http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/tls/490343378.html

Any why did she post this in the "business" section instead of "tools?"

Hey, let's give the lady a break. The appraisers were not merely "professionals" or even "professional carpenters", they are in fact, "Professional Carpenters". Obviously, the capital P and C escaped most of your guys' attention. That must mean they are REALLY good and REALLY smart, not just your average "professional carpenters".

I run into people like this almost weekly. They have something they want to sell and then price it more than a new one will cost and then can't understand why it doesn't sell. They believe the MSRP is the gospel and actually think what they are selling is a bargain.

Knock it off fellas, she is selling at a loss as she paid 800 bucks for it.

we paid way over $799.00 for the Stand, Saw, Dado plate and Blade, extra V-Belt, brand new V-Belt put on, etc.

she say: " I believe that we used it once or twice, then stuck it away in the Garage" BUT "brand new V-Belt put on" ?

I wonder where she had the "V-belt" put on. "Only used a couple of times" so why did she need to have the belts replaced? The poster of this reply thinks that she must be an artist!

yeah, well she obviously don't understand you haven't increased the going market value of a used item by repairing it to salable condition after having been broken. Even if she did pay someone $200 to change the belts.

If the price was that high when she bought it, chances are it is a 13A motor.
